A Swedish or Relaxation massage is a pain free and flowing form of massage. It can use full hand, fingers, and forearm.
During this form of treatment I like to incorporate the massage techniques of: Effleurage, Petrissage, Cross fiber friction and passive stretching. Each of these different forms are melded together throughout the massage and encourage a general sense of relaxation and wellbeing within the client. A Swedish or relaxation massage can be as deep or as superficial as you like. This treatment can incorporate the full body prone and supine, or only the areas you are comfortable with.

A Swedish/Relaxation massage is an excellent way to give yourself a break and recoup from the stresses of life as it eases the symptoms of stress, depression, anxiety, high blood pressure, and insomnia. Everyone can benefit from the increased blood and lymphatic flow throughout the body and your skin will thank you for the hydrating effects of this massage.
As with all massages, it is recommended to be fully hydrated before your treatment and to continue drinking plenty of water afterward.
